Corporate Structure
The operational structure of the Corporation is illustrated in the diagram on this page. Georg Fischer Ltd, the holding company of the Georg Fischer Corporation, is headquartered in Schaffhausen and is listed on the
SIX Swiss Exchange (Security Number 175 230). Its share capital is CHF 82,017,960 [previous year: CHF 102,522,450], and its market capitalization was CHF 1,073 million [previous year: CHF 972 million] as at December 31, 2009.

Significant shareholders
As at 31 December 2009, 80 percent of the registered shares were held by Swiss nationals (42 percent by private individuals and 38 percent by legal entities). The remaining 20 percent of the registered shares are held by foreigners (3 percent by private individuals and 17 percent by legal entities). As at year-end 2008 one shareholder owned more than five percent of the shares. According to the notification of 28 November 2008 from Giorgio Behr and BDS Beteiligungsgesellschaft, 8454 Buchberg, he owned 5,15% of the total number of outstanding shares. In addition, he has written put options on 1,21% of the total number of outstanding shares.
According to the announcement of UBS Fund Management (Switzerland) AG, 4002 Basel, as at 16 June 2009 it held 3.09% of the voting rights of Georg Fischer AG.
