Would you like to visit the historical rooms of the Iron Library or the Klostergut Paradies convent? We'd be pleased to organise a tour for you.

The costs for a guided tour are CHF 150.00 per group. The number of participants per group is limited to 25 persons. If you are a group of more than 25 persons, the group has to be split into two groups.

In November 2007, a new book exhibition was opened in addition to the existing historical rooms of the Library with its internationally unique collection. State-of-the-art museum technology is coupled here with the convent's late mediaeval frescoes (from about 1500). The exhibition features treasures and rare books from the Iron Library, some of which have not been accessible by the public for decades. The artfully designed, special lighting makes the exhibition room both mysterious and dynamic at the same time. This bridge between the past and the future highlights exciting contrasts.

Tours can also be arranged around particular topics relating to iron and the history of technology. Please ask us.
