The purchasing organization consists of clearly focused units: the cross-location Strategic Purchasing and the location-based Operative Purchasing. The Strategic Purchasing Team is responsible for procuring the important material groups such as raw materials, energy, external machining and the like. We seek to utilize a cross-location bundling of requirement quantities and global sourcing to create systematic synergies and costs reduction potentials.
The Operative Purchasing Teams at the locations are responsible for procuring the other materials and services.
