Georg Fischer supports fund-raiser with CHF 10 000

For the past five years Swiss Radio SRF3, together with Swiss Solidarity (Schweizer Glückskette), has been collecting money for development projects. The proceeds of the Appeal, which usually amount to several million Swiss francs, are handed over to Swiss Solidarity, which works in close cooperation with leading Swiss charities, including Caritas Switzerland.

Georg Fischer cooperates with Caritas Switzerland through the Corporation's Clean Water Foundation, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary. Georg Fischer set up the Clean Water Foundation in 2002 when it celebrated its bicentenary. To date, the Foundation has contributed more than seven million Swiss francs to about 100 projects around the world. These donations have improved the access to clean drinking water for more than 200,000 people.
