New Head of GF AgieCharmilles
Jean-Pierre Wilmes, Head of GF AgieCharmilles, will retire on 1 January 2013. His successor will be Pascal Boillat, currently Head of Operations at GF AgieCharmilles, who will be taking up his new post on the same date.
Pascal Boillat, 57 years old, is married and a Swiss citizen. He graduated as electrical engineer and has an extensive professional experience in the machine tool sector. He was also President and CEO of GE Fanuc Europe from 2002 until he joined GF AgieCharmilles in 2010.
Jean-Pierre Wilmes can look back to a successful career at GF AgieCharmilles spanning more than 40 years. After studying metallurgy and business administration in France, he held a number of important management positions at GF AgieCharmilles. He became Head of the Corporate Group in September 2010.
The Board of Directors and the Executive Committee would like to thank Jean-Pierre Wilmes for his exceptional commitment and important contributions to GF AgieCharmilles’ success.
We also wish Pascal Boillat every success and fulfillment in his new, challenging position.
As of 1 January 2013, the Executive Committee will consist of Yves Serra, CEO; Roland Abt, CFO; Pietro Lori, GF Piping Systems; Josef Edbauer, GF Automotive; Pascal Boillat, GF AgieCharmilles.
