Beat Römer to become new Head of Corporate Communications

In September 2011 Beat Römer took up the position as Head of External Communications in Corporate Communications at Georg Fischer. In September 2012 he stepped in as interim Head of the Service Center. Beat Römer has now taken over full responsibility as Head of Corporate Communications.

Beat Römer, aged 49, worked as a journalist for over 15 years. From 2003 to 2007, he was Deputy Editor-in-Chief and Head of the Corporate Department at the Swiss business weekly Cash. In 2008 he was appointed Head of External Communications for the electricity company Axpo Holding, where he was in charge of Media Affairs and Corporate Publishing. Beat Römer holds a post-graduate Executive MBA program from the University of St. Gallen.
