New catering concept for Georg Fischer in the Schaffhausen area

The Compass Group (Schweiz) AG generated revenues of CHF 290 million in 2006 with 2,200 employees. The company, a subsidiary of the Compass Group plc GB operates some 300 restaurants in Switzerland in the areas of administration, industry, education as well as healthcare and has extensive experience in comparable partnerships and food service concepts. The know-how and experience of the new operator are a guarantee of high-quality services in the Georg Fischer catering establishments. With the new management for the three establishments, personnel can be deployed more efficiently and cost-effectively.

The Training Centre at Klostergut Paradies and the Iron Library, both of which were thoroughly renovated in recent years, will continue to be managed by Georg Fischer. However, the future marketing of the Paradies complex will be conducted and gradually expanded in conjunction with the new partner. The Hombergerhaus restaurant will be operated with the existing staff. The "party service", currently the property of Walter Reutimann, will be acquired by Compass under a separate contract and will also be continued. Walter Reutimann will continue to exercise his current function. The Paradies Guest House will be renovated once the current lease agreement expires and will be operated on a year-round basis with new personnel.
