GF About Us - Buildings

Flow Solutions for Buildings

GF’s Buildings business supplies reliable and efficient systems for water distribution as well as heating and cooling applications for residential and commercial markets, primarily in Europe and North America.

For example, GF contributes to reliable water systems in high-rise buildings where thousands of people live and work. At Waterline in Austin, Texas, a 74-story mixed-use tower, GF provides a complete polymer domestic water system using Uponor AquaPEX® and ChlorFIT®. The system is corrosion-resistant, easier to install than traditional metal systems, and supports energy-efficient comfort through radiant heating and cooling.

Flow Solutions for Industry

GF’s Industry business supplies mission-critical fluid handling solutions for a broad range of end-markets, including water treatment, semiconductors, chemical processing, marine, life sciences and data centers globally.

For example, GF contributes to efficient and reliable cooling for LG U+’s Pyeongchon 2 Center in South Korea. To enable efficient thermal management for a 100 kW rack, GF provided custom polymer manifolds for direct-to-chip liquid cooling. The solution ensures uniform coolant distribution, corrosion-free operation, reduced installation complexity and a scalable path for future data center design.

Flow Solutions for Infrastructure

GF’s Infrastructure business supplies integrated solutions for water infrastructure, including stormwater management, potable water, wastewater and gas distribution, as well as cables globally.

For example, GF has been a long-standing partner of Sabesp in São Paulo, Brazil, one of the world’s largest water and sanitation companies serving 375 municipalities. To reduce water loss, improve operational efficiency and accelerate water network modernization, GF supplied a plug-and-play District Metering Areas chamber combining GF, Uponor and VAG technologies. The chamber is up to ten times lighter than concrete alternatives and was installed in half a day instead of several weeks.
