Disclosure of shareholdings

Georg Fischer AG, Schaffhausen, learned on 6 December 2007 from a communiqué of Credit Suisse Asset Management Funds, Giesshübelstrasse 30, 8070 Zürich, that the latter holds more than 3 percent of the voting shares of Georg Fischer AG in terms of Article 20 para 1 of the Stock Exchange Act. The voting rights amount to 3.82 %, this is the equivalent to 156,537 registered shares. This information was released in conformity with Articles 9 and 17 of the Federal Banking Commission's Ordinance on the Stock Exchange.
