Travelling exhibition "Five Years Clean Water"

The Georg Fischer Corporation established the Clean Water Foundation five years ago. To mark this anniversary, Kurt E. Stirnemann, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, today (7 November 2007) opened a travelling exhibition in the foyer of the Corporation's headquarters in Schaffhausen. The inauguration ceremony was attended by representatives of Schaffhausen-based charities which reported on their experience in drinking water projects realised with the help of Clean Water. 

The exhibition, which consists of eleven large-scale panels and two very special drops of water, will run until 30 November 2007 and will then be displayed at other Corporation sites. It can be viewed from 7.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

The exhibition is addressed first and foremost to GF employees and provides a graphic, in-depth view of the topic of drinking water and the Corporation's commitment. Customers and guests of Georg Fischer are also cordially invited to familiarise themselves with this topic and the Foundation's work. 

To date, Georg Fischer has invested around 5 million Swiss francs in Clean Water. The funding has helped realise more than 60 drinking water projects around the world, through which over 120,000 people have gained better access to drinking water. Georg Fischer continues to support the Foundation with a significant sum every year.
