Extensive roof restorations at Klostergut Paradies

Adding to the extensive renovations in the past few years, Georg Fischer proceeds to the next, very important renovation phase at the Klostergut Paradies, close to Schaffhausen. The roof of the East-, North and middle wing on an area of 2 300 m2 is being refurbished. The size and specific characteristics of the historic site demand especially high standards for the restoration. Therefore, an emergency roof of 2 300 m2 is being built and approximately 90 000 tiles need replacing.

During the construction period noise emission is inevitable. For this reason, only a reduced number of events can take place during some parts of the construction phase. On individual request, the Klostergut Paradies will provide more detailed information about whether an event can take place.

The various rooms at the Klostergut, equipped with modern technology for seminars and workshops, will be fully available again from June 2014 onwards.
